RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

DRTTNKENHESS
John Russell, alias Eossor, was charged with being drunk and incapable in Owenstreet, Graha^astown. ■ ;
Defendant pleaded' that he'had drily taken a couple of glasses of liquor. Mr Bullen said he was incorrigible, but he had pledged himself to find work and amend his conduct.
Defendant was fined 10s and costs, or the usual .alternative, and informed by the magistrate that if he again appeared btfore him he would be sent to prison as an incorrigible:drunkard
Another offender of a less incorrigible character was mulcted in a like manner for a like offence.
IGNOEING A SUMMONS
Victor Le Croix was charged with unlawfully disobeying a summons to appear as a witness in the case of Queen v. Jackson (a case of burglary in Auckland). .'■•■■ Mr Bullen informed the Bench that he had apprehended the delinquent and had sent him to Aucklaml.
