TIMARU.
This day,
Mr Wakefield addressed the electors of Geraldine on Saturday evening. It waH a crewded meeting. Mr-Wakefield expressed himself in favor of generalization of the land fund on condition of the" Canterbury system being extended to the whole of the colony. .A vote of confidence was carried unanimously. Mr Hayhurst, whom Mr Wakefield only beat by one vote at the late general election, seconded the resolution.
