This day. The Moanatairi Meetings. At the Moanatairi annual meeting the report showed that 10,770 tons of quartz had been crushed for 33,1250zs Sdwts of melted gold; out of which the shareholders have had £53,940, equal to £4 per share. The total receipts for the year were £86,778 12s 7d, leaving,«;, after | expenses and dividends paid/ a cash bal- j
ance of £6,818 13s 9d. The report vras adopted. Messrs Wardrop and J. M. Clark were elected directors. At the extraordinary meeting held after the annual, the qualification for directors was altered to 100 shares.
News from Kaipara confirms the report of the Glimpse having gone to pieces at Mongonui Bluff. A. Maori found the headboard, with the name " Glimpse" on it.
