Tuesday.
At a meeting of the City Council today, after a long discussion re wharf tenders, it was resolved that the tender of Mr McKirdy, of Wellington, be accepted, and it was also resolved to give, three months' notice to the engineer and some others, and to advertise for an engineer at a salary of £SCD.
