BLACE ANGEL.
- The annual meeting of the shareholders of this mine, which was to hare been held yesterday, lapsed for want of a quorum. The following report of the directors prepared for the occasion may be of interest to shareholders:—" Your directors hare much pleasure in reporting that (although the mine has not been worked by the company) it has x been fully manned by tributers, wjio hare been very successful, baring realised but of 4060zs 17dwts Bgrs of gold £1,028 Is 3d, of which the company received "£137. 'Portions of tfc3 mine are still let on tribute, which pro* mise to be remunerative to the tributers and the company. The mine is in good order, and although at present it would be injudicious to work the property by the company, still, from the development of the Alburnia mine, your directors hope that access will be made to the lower workings of that portion of the mine which yielded, handsome dividends, and that the company will be enabled to resume operations. The balance of cash in hand amounts to £105 16s 10d, and as the company has no liabilities, they are in a sound financial position." >;
