Macffarlane v. Seymour.-rClaim; 16s 6d, and costs 19s. J. Marshall v. J. Packhard.—Claim, £15 14s 9d, goods, and costs £2 10s. Same v. B.Murdock—Claim, £6 12s 6d, goods, and costs £2 4s. O. D. Grant v. H. Fletcher.—Claim, £5 4s 6d, goods, and costs 19s. Judgment Summonses. fbances. Emma lenton v. 8. place. : Claim £3 2s. Mr Brassey appeared for the plaintiff, and said his client had obtained judgment against Place some time ago, but the debt had not been paid. Defendant did not reside on the Tbamea. His Worship said he could see he had done wrong in giving judgment against one outside the district; but through the advice of lawyers he had done so. Adjourned till the Bth June. WATSON V. FISHEB. Claim, £4 11s lOd, wages. G-. J. Fisher, sworn, deposed—l am a laborer residing at Ohinemuri. lam the person against whom Watson got a judgment summons. I sent £2 down to pay defendant. I have filed a declaration of insolvency since then. I did not pay a lawyer for doing it. . His Worship said he would adjourn i the case till the Bth of June. ' Defended Cases.

MACFFABIANE V. MUBPHY. Claim, £117s. , Mr Brassey for plaintiff. Defendant denied the debt..' He said he did not owe anything to plaintiff. He had come down irom Ohinemuri yesterday morning. By Mr Brassey—l dc not remember consulting Mr W. Brassey relative to my marriage. He was chaffing me about it, but I did not have any advice from him. His Worship said he would allow Mr llrassey to choose between a nonsuit and a judgment lor defendant. .Nonsuit accepted. MACFFABLANE Y. E. AND B. CABHBLL. Claim, £12 16s. Mr Brassey for plaintiff. R. Cashell, sworn, deposed—l and my brother are partners. I know little or nothing of this affair. My brother is the responsible person in this case.

Adjourned till next Court day for the appearance of Mr Uobert Cashell. Court adjourned.
