One man, on remand, was charged with being drunk and incapable in Grahamstown, on the 23rd inst. Defendant pleaded guilty and was let off.
THEFT,
Heta (a Native) was charged with steaing and taking away a saddle and bridle^ from the dwelling of one Arapata Tinera, of Opatito.'the property of the said Ara-. pata Tinera. ■: Defendant pleaded guilty. - . Mr Bullen said defendant was also; charged with stealing a horse, and asked to hay«: the case.remanded. : -,-■:■ :Eemanded for a week. ITTNACY.. '' . . ..; John Power was charged on suspicion of being of unsound mind, at Thames, on the 24th inst. ■■■...
Mr Bullen said the man had been once 6r twice, before in v-tbe Asylum, and his wife had requested him to get him there again as she could do nothing with him. Sent to the Asylum for an indefinite period.
