MOANATAIRI.
Breaking down in the winze on the No. 9 reef took place to-day with first-class results, there being some splendid specimens obtained with- a fine show left in the bottom. The following is a.copy of Mr Comer's telegram sent to the office at Auckland to day :—"2slbs of specimens from new winze—one splendid stone weighing 121bs—one half gold. Gold showing in face, —Rout. Comee. The crushing for Gavin and party was finished "to-day for the handsome yield of 188ozs 7dwts melted gold. '.'-■'.
