Monday. Great interest was taken in the election for the General Assembly to-day. The total returns from Boss, Woodstock,
Donoghue's and Redman's showa majority of twenty in favor of Mr Gisborne. The returns from further south are not yet to hand, but they cannot possibly affect the result. Mr Gisborne's return may be looked for as certain.
