Retorting after a fortnight's crushing at Bull's battery with 13 head of stampers took place on Saturday afternoon at ( about 4 o'clock, and the return was a very 1 good lone, as it amounted to 3500zs I7dwts gold. This fine return is the produce of ; the crushing of 140 loads of quartz, and a parcel- of specimens and picked stone alluded to some days back The melted yield is 3460z5, and the loss is thus very small.
