COROMANDEL.
This day. Tokatea.—The mine generally is looking well. In the Van level some very good stone got on Saturday, supposed to be the rich shot of gold worked from the Siege of Paris level. Specimens are expected in good quantity. 7 Royal Oak.-^-A small quantity of good stone. The low level is rapidly approaching the shot of gold.. McLean's Pride of Tokatea tribute started crushing sixty tons of stuff today. Some golden carp have been put into the creeks here by Mr George McLeod, and it is hoped they will be protected.
