This day.
The barque Isabella Ridley came ashore yesterday. She crushed her lower timbers on the rocks, and threatened to capsize at first, but now stands stiffly and the seas are not doing much harm. The crow
landed safely. It was a beautiful calm day, but a tremendous sea, which was increasing. During the night the schooner Rosa Anna . drifted into Caroline Bay, now in'great danger. The French barque Jootno is labormg heavily. The schooners Annie Don, Young Dick, and Qnward, and the brig' Mary King are ridjng s • , Xater. '' ; well to anchor though much strained; . Last night the mate and sailors of the Isabella Kidley tried to get off to the wreck to save their effects, one man was drowned and several others were only saved by the police arresting them. The mate.and one seaman were brought before Mr Wakefield, J.P., this morning, and discharged with a severe caution. The barque broke up duriug the night. The sea has now. abated. '
