PERSEVERANCE (WAITEKAURI.)

Mr Allen, one of the directors of this mine, has recently paid & visit to the ground on behalf of the Auckland share* holders. The Manager is putting in a drive about 40 feet below the out crop of the reef, and expects to cut it after driving about 30 feet. This drive is now in 20 feet, which leaves only 10 feet yet to drive.
