In the Police Court, Bushe, late schoolmaster at Whangapoua, was charged with assaulting his daughter-in-law and remanded, the prosecutrix being confined to her bed in consequence of seyere injuries. ■'-.■- I

Barney Coyle, charged with'neglecting to support his illegitimate child, was remanded. - .
