He first points out that the circular publishes the amount of New Zealand SeVenue'sfor 1873-4 instead or that for 1876. The tabjej in Weatgarth's circular made out that the revenue of New-Zealand for 1875 was £K677,d2V while Ihafr of Victoria'was;■ £4,236,423. Tho o yremier, quoting-fro?^ New Zealand statistics, shows that the receipts/ ff6r ISTjO amounted to £2,841,953 (instead of only £1,677,626) as compared with., tlie £4;2is42J* ■refeeiTec^-in :Victoria: 'He also points out that .although there was ja note in the circular stating that the amount given M'New Zealand revenue was ex-provincial revenues, still that left an ; . -error;.; of -. -thirty ,-s thousand pounds.
