QUEEN OF THE MAY.
It has been decided to let the crushing at Bull's battery run on for another week before .retorting, as during last week .13, head hare only-been used. The crushing. is showing for a fair return.. The J manager has knocked through, from the drive on the footwall lode into the winze* which carried down the good gold between the No. 4 and 5 levels. Stoping has been commenced, and about 20lbs of. golden .stone obtained from breaking down the reef, and there is gold' showing in the face of the lode which is looking well. The contractors in theVNb. 4'level-con-tinue driving on the reef, which is looking, well—a little gold being visible.
