r f Saturday, i The Golden Fleece Extended Company declared a dividend last night of one shilling and sixpence per share. This company has declared in dividends since the 22nd November last £16,800. . This day. An attempt was made yesterday morning at two o'clock to brrn down the premises occupied by T aing and wife as store and dwelling-house, in Tairua street, immediately opposite where the Greymouth Hot3l was burned down. A bundle of wood and rags saturated with kerosene had been placed under the corner of the house and fired. Fortunately the blaze was seen before it got a good hold, and the fire was extinguished without it doing much damage.
