The rumors that the crossing of the Pruth by the Eussian forces was imminent are denied at St. Petersburg. The future movements of Eussia depend upon the replies of the other Powers to the Eussian circular respecting the results or the Stamboul Conference. A Times telegram reporting the .intended demobilization of the Eussian army is incorrect. The Powers still deiay replying to the Eussian circular. They are unwilling to agree to joint,action or continuance of the isolated action of Eussia. The Oroatians refuse to send Deputies to the Turkish Parliament. General Hayes is returned by Georgia, and receives the South Carolina vote. March 3. The San Francisco mails arrived at Cook Haven. . The Pacific Steamship Company intend despatching steamers via the Cape to Australia.
