Union Beach.—A large parcel of sped mens last night—.six hundred and thirty^ four pounds in hand! this morning.
Kapanga.—Some very rich stone taken from the winze, stopes'and other parts of the mine. Gold is still showing, well in the face. The mine generally i» looking very well. ; . : '
Harbor View.-—Cut a lode in the low level one foot wide, Trails well defined, and every prospect of gold.
The Bank of New Zealand shipped today for Auckland six hundred and thirty ounces of gold. ■ ,
Royal Oak.—The manager reports the mine generally looking satisfactory. Crushing is fo be started.at once.
Tokatea.—Nothing important from this mine; work going on as usual. ,
Dunn, charged with larceny, was found guilty and sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Mercury Bay.—The Nymphe sailed yesterday for Gisborne. The' Ettie White sailed. A schooner arrived this morning.
