An extraordinary meeting of the shareholders of this mine was held at the company's office, Queen street, this afternoon. There were seven shareholders present, and Mr Porter was voted to the chair. It was resolved to empower the directors to let such portions of the mine on tribute as they think fit, and to authq. rise them to dispose of the shares now the property of the company in such manner as shall, be for the advancement of the company.
