It will be remembered that some time since, the party holding Barclay's tribute section in the Alburnia, having reason-to .believe that-their rich leader wen* into the adjoining ground, took up the supposed auriferous ground, which is part of the North Devon mine, and worked it under the name of- Scanlan and party. Since then they have been carrying on operations,, and during the last two or three days they have had a one ton trial crushing proceeding at the Moanatairi battery. They retorted last evening and obtained the moderate yield of 6dwts gold. ■ '
