Tuesday. . The match with the All England Eleven was resumed at noon to-day. The weather was beautiful. The Taranaki Twenty-two resumed innings with Harrison, the " not out" of yesterday, who was faced by Muggeridge, Southerton bowling instead of Ulyett; and his bowling was most effective, demolishing nine wickets in an hour. "The only Taranakians who made a stand were Fitzpatrick and McKellar, who made 5 and 6 respectively. The total score at 1.15 p.m. was 34, with 15 wickets down.
The match was finished at 2 p.m., when the Taranaki Twenty .two were all out in their second innings for 47. The total of the all England was 80 runs. The total of Taranaki's two innings was 79 runs.
The steamer Taupo is waiting to^take the cricketers on to Nelson.
