.General Notices NOTICE. A PPLICATION TO REGISTER FORMS Can now be obtained at THE EVENING STAK OFFICE, Albert street. OF HOLLOWAY'S PILLS AND OINTMENT.. I. most respectfully take leave lo call the attention" of the inhabitants of Australasia to the fact that Messrs HENRY, CUEKAN and CO., Wholesale Druggists, of NEW YOKE, ..have Agencies in various parts, and that their Travellers are going all over the country vending SPUKIOUS IMITA- I TIONS of my Pills and Ointment, which | they make ih"NEW Yobk, and which bear i in some instanc- -.^sssg^ es their trade mark thus — MM ||^V~ w^'st on other labels of ®|ft^|« % this trash it is omitted, the^gTf^ better to deceive you, but the words "New York" are retained. Much of this fictitious stuff is sold in the Auction Booms of Sydney and elsewhere, and readily finds its way into the back settlements. These are vile frauds, as I do not allow my-Medicines even to be sold in any part of the United States; they are only made by me at 533, Oxford street, London. The same people are circulating a report that my business is about to be formed into a Company, which is utterly false. I most earnestly-appeal to that sense of British justice, which. I feel sure I may venture upon asking from my kind countrymen and countrywomen in their distant homes, to assist me, as far as may lay in their power, in denouncing this shameful American Fraud, by-cautioning their friends lest they be duped into buying villainous compounds styled "Holloway's Pills and Ointment "with any New York label thereon. Each Pot and Box of the Genuine Medicines bears the British Government Stamp, with the words " Holloway's Pills and OjKTMfeN'f, London," engraved thereon. On the labvl is:- the address, 533, Oxfokd Stbeet.'London, where alone they are manufactured. (Sigm^) THOMAS HOLLO WAY. London, Feb..lsi 1876. 2365 } ; _ . . ——T- | "STAMP ACT, 1875."
