Union Beach.—A small quantity of good stone last night. Start crushing specimens during the week. .
McLean's tribute.—A parcel of stuff tried; result, nothing worth reporting.
Tokatea.—The crushing generally is looking well. <
Royal Oak.—The mine generally is looking satisfactory.
The grant for education distribution, as reported by the Herald, is deemed most unsatisfactory by Coromandel citizens, who wish to know why the grant of four thousand has been placed in the hands of the Thames people to distribute without their haying a voice.
