BALCLUTHA.
• This day. Correspondence between Mr Macandrew, Sir George Grey, and the President of the Otago Convention, published in the Clutha Leader to-day, showing that in consequence of the illness of Sir George Grey, the mission to England.must be postponed. The letters suggest that the money collected to defray the expenses of the delegates should now be expended in trying the question of. the legality of the Abolition Act in a co*vt of law, and urges
that this would be a popular mode of disposing of the funds.
