The Volunteers' Trip to Auskland.

The Thames Naval Brigade and Native Company went to Auckland on Saturday afternoon per Rotomahana, arriving about 10 p.m., when they were met by large musters of Auckland Scottish and Auckland Naval Companies and others. The whole marched through the town, entering the city with martial music. On Sunday morning the Navals and Maoris had a church parade to St. Paul's, and in the afternoon several of them went on board the German man of war Hertha, now in Auckland Harbor, where they were most cordially received by both officers and men. On Monday the Thames Scottish and Band went to Auckland for a holiday, returning again last night. There was a large muster of both Company and Band. The Native Company paraded with the Scottish yesterday afternoon for the return by the Hotomahana. They were inspected on parade by ffon.
