ENGLISH OPPOSITION TO TURKEY.
London, Dec. 6th.—John Bright made an elaborate speech to a large meeting at Birmingham last night against the Government's Eastern policy in support of Turkey. Gladstone will participate in S the conference on the Eastern question at / St. James' Hall, on Friday next. Many prominent Liberals and well-known pliik anthropists are promoters'of the affair. The object is to influence public opinion against supporting Turkey.
