CROWN PRINCESS.
Since the last crushing the turn out of quartz from the low level promises well lor the next. A fair quantity of specimens ' and picked stone being obtained from No. 2 stope and from No. 3 reef. The stope from JSto. 2 reef is now fairly in hand, with upper fixed; and good progress is made with the drive nearly east and west, a considerable length of reef being ready for stripping, and shows a welldefined body of quartz about 18 inches wide. No. 3 reef is continued past the winze sunk on the junction of specimen leader, and shows upwards of three feet with well-defined walls, is heavily charged with minerals, but is comparatively easy to break out. It is intended to crush a parcel from this lode by itself and determine its value. Judging from present appearances the crushings should be remunerative and regular. There are 401bs good choice stone in the strong box.
