CALEDONIAN.
Contractors are in with another section of the drive about 45 feet, which for the last ten feet has slewed round to the footwall side very much, proving the reef is altering its courses or otherwise a branch lode is thrown off in this direction. The reef is now being thrown down, and shotfs'aiT increased size, but as yet no specimens have been seen. The stone is of good character, not less than five feet, but as quartz is left in the hanging wall it may prove to be larger.
