NICK WIFFLES.
The .above is the name given to two men's ground in the vicinity of Westbn's battery site, Waiotahi Creek, and from whence two specimen cnishings have been already reported, the present crashing of 10 tons being the residue saved from workings on the lodes, the main part being deemed too poor to pay expenses incurred in carting, and hence -pawed over the tip. The yield from the Waiotahi battery was 5£ ounces', Which, melted to 5 ounces 6 dwts 12 grains gold.
