•August 12. ! A passenger train from Sydney yester- j day went on to &■ siding at Eaglan, and) ran into another engine. The buffers, were broken, and one woman slightly' injured. Finch and Barlier, railway employes,! were charged to-day with a capitaloffencei on a girl at Jlaglan on the 6th instant.' The investigation was held with closed, doors. The only evidence taken was that; of the arresting constables. The two men,. besides another have been suspended' from employment. . _
