TAIRUA ROAD.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.) Sic, —With reference to the above I; have heard that the Provincial Engineer has come to the' conclusion to have the track by.AicLeary's. Neither this,orRowley's roufe is the proper plan, the only natural route for the road is through the mission ground to the gorge, as it is of vital importance to have a dray road. I hope action will be taken to prevent the public money being squandered on a road through an impracticable route. • A Miner. August 20th. • • --■; ■■[•■■
