The company's operations on No. 4 and 5 lodes continue to meet with the averag* quantity 6f quartz, and during the last two days have secured 1.30 lbs choice stone. The foot leader maintains,its course and size, but has not shown many specimens of late. - The • cross lode veins near the Red Queen boundary have' been driven on a few feet and how show a fair body of stone, together making 15 inches of crushing stone, a little 'gold breaking out occasionally. _ The show at the battery is about equal to former crashings.
