Warden's Office, Thames, • 9th August, 1875.A PPLICATION has been made by John A Abthttb, for the Ajax Goldinining Company, Limited, for LICENSE to Con struct a Dam, and to occupy as a Site for siich Dam thirty feet by two hundred feet of land situated at Pakirarahi, on the Britannia Creek, one hundred yards below junction of Ajax and Britannia Creeks, having at each angle thereof a peg marked EA. The proposed height of the said Dam is eighteen feet. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 14th day of September, ]875, a License may be granted to the said Ajax Goldinining Company, Limited, for the above described Dam Site, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date. The proposed height of the said Dam is 25 to 30 feet.
