EESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
THIS DAY. (Before J. Eilgoitk, Esq., J.P., and E. W. Puckey, Esq., J.P.) DISCHARGING FIKEABMS. James Woods pleaded guilty to a charge of discharging firearms within the "Borouglg contrary, Jto the SBorough ByeJaws. ■;---',. ' :. Defendant slated that he had done so to get rid of a cat which had become a perfect nuisance to him ; and that he did not know he was cc mmitting an' offence by doing so.
The Court fined him one shilling and costs, ( and warned him .that if he again transgressed the full penalty rof £5 would be inflicted.
The Court then rose
