NO. 2 H.R.V. PRIZE FIRING.
The members of No. 2 H.R.V. assembled on Saturday to decide who was to be the first, holder of a double-barrelled shot gun given to the company by Captain Hazard. The gun must be won four times before it comes the property of any one volunteer. The following are the names of the five highest scorers on Saturday from . which it will be seen that Corporal Stockdale was the winner with the fair score of 45. We draw attention to the shooting at 30D yards, three of the five scoring within a point of bull's eyes, that at 500 yards shows a most unaccountable falling off:—
