Beeohe for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for mining purposes, commencing ot a point about 400 yards up the first tributnry of Nceves' Creek, from the point marked B on plan lodged in Warden's office with Beechc's application for Water Race No. 7, and terminating at a point near the head of the Water Race de'cribcd in said application. The length of such race is aix hundred yards or thereabouts, and its intended course is southward and vre&tward. Tho mean breadth and dentil of such' Race is two feet by two feet, and it ia capable of carrying, two sluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of forty inches each which it is intended to appropriate is two. NOTICE is therefore giv^n, that on the 3rd day of August, 1875, a Licenso will be granted to tlie said John B. XjL Wiokham for a LICENSE to construct a-Water Race for mining purposes commencing at a point on the Tairua ,River, in the Tairua extension of the Hauraki Gold Mining District, situate at about half-a-mile above the junction of a river known as the Katarero River, with tli6 said Tairua River, and terminating at a point on the Tairua Block, situate about three miles north-east from the site of the claim reg'sterod as the "Tairua Claim." XJL Macdonald for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for mining purposes, commencing at a point on the Tairua River, in the Tairua extension of the Hauraki G-old Mining District, situated afc about half a'mile above the junction of a river known as the Katcrere Elver with the said Tairua River, and terminating at a point on the Tairua Block, situate about three miles north-east from the site of a claim registered as the Toirua Gtaim.. The length of such Raco is eight miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is north-westerly from the point of commencement. The mean breadth and. depih of such Race is six feet by four feet, and it is capable of carrying twenty Bluice heads of water, ard the number of sluice heads of water of forty inches each which it is in'ended to appropriate is twenty, and the land required for the said Race is "sixty feet, on each side of the centre of the said Race. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 3rd day of August, 1875, a License may be granted to the said 3. E.
