This day.
Edmund Lamb, employed at the new hospital works, dropped dead this morning, whilo at work. The cause was apoplexy, to which he was subject. A rush on Tairua ; Prospectors shares advanced to £8 2s 6d. [The price of Tairua shares we believe to be an error. The figures were, however, repeated by the Auckland operator and said to bo all right.—Ep.] -....•■
