DUNEDIN.
Monday. A meeting is to be held this week with a view of inviting Messrs Sankey and Moody here to revivalise. It is expected that they would star through New Zealand. The Wesleyana are the principal movers.
A match came off on Saturday between Edwards; of Wellington, pedestrian, and Burke, a local amateur, for £40 a-side. The former had engaged to walk seventy yards while the latter ran one hundred. The contest"resulted in-a dead-heat.
The butchers hate raised the price of meat one penny. A Co-operative Provision Company is projected. A bill has been introduced in the Council providing for a Harbour Board at Moeraki.
