Fern Flat Reef.
A parcel of 951bs stone, brought down by one of the prospectors from the above reef on Thursday, was crushed at the Tramway battery, and yielded 10 dwts 5 grains of retorted gold, which is-now to be. seen at the National Bank. There was no gold visible in the. stone. The gold has been lodged by Mr J. Leydori, who has an interest in the adjoining claim. - :
