THE CURE.
Up to yesterday at 4 o'clock 763 ounces of hard squeezed amalgam had bean secured, while there are four dayi' run of blanketing on hand, as well as 2 cwt. of picked stuff. This is exactly for three weeks' run with 12 head of stamps. The
show on the plates is shaping very well. In the mine stoping is being continued, and the output of stuff is considerable. It is contemplated to engage an additional amount of crushing power if it can be obtained at the Prince Alfred Battery, as the Manager has thoroughly opened up the mine, and could put a large number of men on with-great advantage to the company.
