whor6 a general muster took place. So far as we were able to gather,-the different companies mustered in strength about as follows : —Thames Scottish Volunteers, 30 ; Band, 03; all officers present with tie exception of Lieufenant Dey — absent on sick leave. Piper Fotheringham was also in attendance. Of the Thames Naval Brigade there were about 40 men, four petty officers, under the command of Captain Brassy. The Naval Band mustered strongly. No. 2 Company Ha'r'ki "P;flo Volunteers ' commanded.by Captain' W.:H. Hazard, rolled up very well, t:tere being besides the full compliment of- officer, about 20 men present. No. 3 Company and the Thames liifle Rangers amalgamated, numbering over 15 file and the officers of eaeli company; 'commanded respectively by Captains J. E. Macdonald and J. Mcßoberts.
