Monday. ; Judgo Gillies opened the Supreme; Court to-day. There were six cases on; the Calendar. The Grand Jury found no bill in the case of Jones, committed for: manslaughter in connection with the: recent accident on the Beach .Road. ;
James Thomas Smith, over 70 years; old, pleaded guilty to an indecent; assault upon his grand-daughter, seven years of age. He was sentenced to five; years' imprisonment • ■ :
