Just prior to the stoppage of the Prince Alfred battery for the purpose mentioned in yesterday's issue, the tributers (Messrs Jury and party) in the Twenty-third of June, had a,.cleaning up and retorting from a small parcel of 3 tons of" stone. The result rather exceeded expectations, being 6ozs 10 dwts of gold. '
