A test was made at the Willoughby street Reduction Works to-day of 271bs stone from a piece of ground taken up by Grace and party, Tairua, and called the Victoria Claim. It yielded at the rate of 1 ounce 14 dwts gold to the ton. Another test was made at the same works of 20 lbs stone from Silver's Claim, Ohinemuri, which yielded at the rate of 2 ounces 10 dwts 8 grains per ton. •
