Trial Crushings.
The second lot of stuff ftom the Prospectors' claim was completed to-day.,, and, although it has not turned out so well as the first, the return is, nevertheless, a very satisfactory ttne—namely, 1 ounce 8 dwts of retorted gold, from one ton (or thereabout) iof stone. With ordinary facilities for treating this quartz, it should pay well; and the test may be said to bear out thoroughly all thafrithe prospectors ever advanced in favor of the claim.
