THIS PAY. (Before H. Goldsmith and E. W. Puckey, Esqs., J.s.P.) BEEACH-OF T.ffE PEACE. Joseph Gunning and George Parker were charged with' conYmitting a breach of the peace, by fightiiig in a public place; to wit, Albert-street, Grahamstown, on the 20th instant. Both defendants denied the charge. Constable Dey deposed that he saw defendants fighting in the street on the day named, and he laid an information against them. Defendant Gunning; said he never hit Parker^ and the latter said the same, and that he fell down. Tie Bench considered tho , charge proVed, and ordered defendants iq find sureties to keep the peace, each in £10, and one other malifcei amqiint,for three months. .'". : -. : BTEATHOESB. William Dibsell was charged with breach of the Bye-law of the Borough by allowing a horse to wander. Mr Douglas appeared for defendant and pleaded guilty. Fined 2s 6d and coaii. stbat cow. •— Thomas was charged with allowing a cow to wander at largo in— street He pleaded guilty,, aud was fined 2s Gd and costs. The Court adjourned. .
