There is nothing pamculary new to report'from the Big Pump. "The different sections of the new lift are accumulating on the grouad, and when the cistern chamber is completed the 25-inch lift will be hauled from the bottom and deposited therein, when the other will be lowered down. The air shaft is now down 20 feet, and it is intended to continue sinking it.
