WARDEN'S COURT.

The Warden's Court was opened to-day with the case Riordan and others r.Catran and others, Messrs Macdonald and Tyler for the plaintiffs ; but the case was held over on the application of plaintiffs' solicitors,, and the case against Porter was brought on first. CATBAN AND OTHEBS V. POBTEB AND OTHEBS. This case was then called on; Messrs Macdonald and Tyler for plaintiffs, and Mr Brassey for defendants. Adam Porter in giving his evidence said he had engaged Mr Macdonald. Mr Macdonald said he could explain the matter, and would jbe amenable to the Supreme Court. The case was then proceeded with. There is no revelation yet of how one of the complainants got his miner's right before 30 o'clock on the day of "proclamation. H ennelly testified that he got from Mr Mackay the first right issued, but Cashell's evidence may reveal more.
