[By Pigeon Express.] Mackattown, ,10 a m. Nothing doing here until Monday ex. cejpt a little building. The erections going up are mostly canvass—very few wooden buildings. Over 1,000 miners' rights have been issued up to the present. The Waitekauri will attract a great, deal of attention next week. Regret general at Mackay's resignation, as miners feel this will be prelude to handing over the field to Provincial Government.
